At The Happy Lotus Candles my focus is authenticity; I pour each candle with the intention that lighting it will help YOU feel a little more like your most authentic, true self…the self that shines through when you feel safe and secure. Whether your comfiest space is with family & friends, a good book, or under a warm blanket, my candles help to connect you with that feeling and thus, that version of yourself.
Rooted on the sandy shores of Cape Cod, The Happy Lotus hand pours all-natural soy candles that capture warmth, comfort and coastal serenity.
Each candle purchased is an investment in a product made by hand in my home, to provide light and warmth in yours.
I’ve had an obsession with candles and fire since I was around ten years old. Over the years this obsession has shown up in many ways: melting crayons over candles, working at a candle shop, burning candles in my home at all times, and now, making candles as my [dream] job.
I made my first candle in 2016 and was excited when it stayed lit...for 5 minutes before self-extinguishing. But I was determined to make this work because for the 5 minutes that that flame was flickering, I was overjoyed that I had made a working candle.
Fast forward to today: my candles stay lit for hours, not minutes, and I’m still just as happy that I get to make candles for a living. I hope you enjoy my candles as much as I enjoy making them; I look forward to working with you!
